Rescue Mission: Mileena
Many vet
appointments later, Mileena is now in the recovery process. She takes medicine
twice per day and still requires a few bandages. However, she is doing much
better. When we first took her in, she was terrified and very clearly in pain.
Now, she has become more active and affectionate. Her personality continues to
come out every day, and we are thankful we were able to rescue her in time. It
is our goal to eventually find the perfect family for her, assuring her
permanent safety.
Mileena
is not the only cat needing saving. And while we cannot save them all, this shelter
promises to take in any cat that is in danger. Our mission is to not only
provide a safe and fun environment for our cats before they find a new home,
but also encourage responsible pet ownership. We want to reduce the number of homeless,
abused, and abandoned cats in the community, as well as improve their quality
of life by providing the right care.
That is also why 15% of our proceeds go towards cat rescue organizations, such as Feline Rescue Inc., The Queenie Foundation, and Calico Callie's Cat Colony Care & Rescue, Inc.
We hope to create more story endings like Mileena’s.
